About this puzzle
Name the Beast shows one piece of bestiary artwork and asks what it is. No class, no habitat, no listed weakness — just the creature, the way you would meet it in the wild before your medallion started humming.
Seventy-nine monsters are in rotation, from drowners and nekkers up through the draconids and the higher vampires. Silhouette is the fastest tell: wings, limb count, and posture separate the classes long before the fine detail does. After three wrong guesses a hint button appears and names the monster's class.

Tips
- Stuck? After three wrong guesses a Hint button appears, revealing the monster's class.
- Silhouette and limb count separate most classes — necrophages, insectoids and draconids all move differently.
- Several monsters share a family resemblance; the background often hints at where it is found.
